Experienced in managing Hitachi Storage systems namely HDS 95xx,§ 99xx, NSC55, AMS 1000, USP600,USPV , USP VM
Knowledge of configuring and managing Brocade/McData Directors and Switches.
Experienced in Native Hitachi Storage Admin Software namely: Hitachi§ Storage Navigator, Hitachi Device Manager, HDS Tuning Manager, HDS Storage Navigator Modular, HDS True Copy (Replication).
Experienced in Brocade EFCM (Enterprise Fabric Connectivity Manager
Expertise in HDS SAN Zone creation and mapping.
Expertise in HDS Storage LUN creation and allocation to Servers.
Expertise in HDS LUN Masking, LUN Management storage space management
Roles & Responsibilities:
Performance tuning of storage.
Pro-active measures and preventive measure for storage problems.
Creation of weekly status reports and solving pending tickets.
Storage and disk controller firmware up gradation
SAN design configuration.
Configration for New Storage Devices , coordinating with Data center people and vendor for the same.
Troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
Incident management and change management via Remedy
Remote storage administration
Storage configuration, monitoring and analyzing event, alert logs and taking appropriate actions, trouble shooting skills in storage environment and problem solving
Storage Virtulization / Cosolidation via USPV / USP VM
Qualification :
5+ Yrs IT Infrastructure Support Experience.
3+yrs exp in storage domain.
Good hands on exp in SAN /NAS.
Any Engg Graduate / Diploma
