Description:
.Maintain, setup and configure our infrastructure for hosting web applications. .Setup, configure and Manager Linux servers mainly Debian, but also a few RedHat? and Suse.
.Setup, configure and optimize database servers with MySQL and PostgreSQL database. .Responsible for maintenance, availability, backups, security, customer satisfaction.
.Will be working on our internal servers and our customers web servers.
.Independent and capable of providing and implementing solution in crises.
Experience Required:
Applications used (skill sets) :
* Debian linux (secure, update, upgrade, user management) - Mandatory
* OpenVZ (virtualization) - Mandatory
* Sendmail- Mandatory
* Courier – good knowledge
* Postfix - good knowledge
* Apache (1.3, 2.0, 2.2) - Mandatory
* PHP (3, 4, 5, 6) - good knowledge
* Perl (cgi, lwp, mod_perl) - good knowledge
* Bash (scripting) - good knowledge
* MySQL - Mandatory
* PostgreSQL
* SSH / Open SSL - Mandatory
Tools used:
* apt (apt-get, aptitude)
* rsync
* rdiff-backup
Skill Required:
