Job Description:
• Provide Technical Leadership in the areas of OS internals, SAN including Fiber Channel, SCSI and Any Array Internals; Exposure to other technologies like iSCSI, Storage Virtualization and NAS is desirable
• Hands on Experience with any storage products (HDS/EMS/SUN/NetApp).
• Preferably Knowledge of Netbackup
• Knowledge of Networking(Router, Switch, gateway, director, bridge etc) & Storage Concepts (DAS, NAS, SAN Architectures)
• Knowledge of Disk Technologies (ATA, SATA, SCSI, FC, iSCSI, FC, Infiniband, SAS), tProtocols and Infrastructures commonly used.
• Knowledge of RAID various levels, benefits, performance and comparisons.
• Knowledge of FC SAN (topologies, protocols, layers, addressing, fabric extension technologies: FCIP, iFCP, WAN, CWDM, DWDM)
• Knowledge of Array Technology, Storage, Network Virtualization.
• Knowledge of Storage Business Parameters, like Consolidation and Capacity Utilization, Clustering and Failover, levels of Disaster Recovery, Tiered Storage, Security, and Content Addressable Storage.
• Detailed hands on working on Tape Libraries, Autoloaders and Tape drives
