Roles and Responsibilities:
* Implementing High Availability and Fault Tolerance Strategies ,HA and Failover using MMR, Write Failover, Load Balancing using Directory Proxy Server.
* Day-to-day maintenance of Sun Directory.
* Design/Develop strategy for creation of users in LDAP.
* Migration of users/roles/profiles across DEV,QA and Prod environments.
* Administration/creation of dynamic attributes and access accounts within LDAP database.
* Design, implement and test a scalable and secure LDAP-based security infrastructure and develop standards and directory synchronization processes.
* Responsibilities include Producing LDAP schema designs and operational plans for populating, maintaining, operating, deployment and enhancement of SUN Portal server Directories.
* Refine the Role Based Security framework used for authentication and authorization and provide guidance and support, as well as technical expertise to application teams in implementing the above strategies.
* This person will also participate in the planning and development of a Security API, which leverages a Role Based Security Framework for use with our Web based applications. The completion of documentation and providing a level of education of said deliverables will be critical to our success. He or she will participate, along with the Architecture team and Information Security, to identify the long-term role of directory services across the business boundaries. He or she will also be involved in the development and deployment of interfaces between the directory and source and target systems, and directory-enabled applications.
* Experience with design, deployment disaster recovery, fine tuning and maintenance of Sun One Directory Server v5x (LDAP) on Linux operating system.
* Perform online and offline system backups (bootable recovery CD, NFS, ufsdump, ufsrestore), auditing, and performance monitoring
* Creating UNIX Shell Script for maintenance of User Accounts batch creation and clean up of accounts and memory management & performance of the Linux boxes.
Preferred:
1. Experience with SUN directory on Linux will be preferred.
2. Additional skills FLEX or Active Directory (AD).
3. Candidate should have good communication skills /Team Spirit with an ability to think out of the box and provide valuable inputs wherever required.
